Would a blog be good for your business?

Once installed, blog software is easy to use. Simply write your thoughts, link to resources, and publish to your blog, all at the push of a few buttons. No software to install on your computer.

Blogs are not for everyone.

Blogs can have a downside. Blogging does not provide all the functionality of web pages, and has limits for e-commerce solutions.

Be realistic about how much time you can devote to your blog. If your time schedule does not allow for you to make regular updates, blogging will not be to your advantage.

Another item to consider: According to a recent survey, only 27% of Internet users in America look at blogs. Keep in mind that having a blog will not automatically guarantee you thousands of new customers. It is only one piece of the marketing puzzle.

If you are fairly internet savvy you can download and install free blog software yourself from any of several websites. There are even some free templates you can install to customize the look of your site.
